About the Crusaders

Cancer Crusaders is a volunteer-run nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families facing cancer in Bennington and the surrounding communities.

Rooted in local care and community generosity, our mission is to help ease some of the financial and emotional burdens that often come with cancer treatment. Through fundraisers, community events, raffles, donations, and partnerships with local businesses and organizations, Cancer Crusaders provides direct assistance for real and immediate needs.

This support may include help with gas and grocery cards, utility bills, fuel costs, medical and dental expenses, transportation needs, housing-related costs, and home accessibility support.

For many individuals and families, cancer treatment brings challenges that extend far beyond the medical diagnosis itself. The cost of getting to appointments, keeping food on the table, heating a home, managing bills, or responding to unexpected expenses can quickly become overwhelming. Cancer Crusaders works to help carry a small piece of that burden for our neighbors.

Every donation, fundraiser, basket raffle, volunteer hour, and shared post helps make this support possible. Because of the generosity of our community, Cancer Crusaders is able to provide meaningful assistance to local people during one of the most difficult seasons of their lives.
